When designing the scheme we took into account the large ceilings and the colour themes of the rooms and what tropical office plants to use. Whilst in the entrance and main sports area we choose silver containers to complement the finishing touches of the room. For the people who choose just to observe in the viewing area, we installed chocolate brown marble containers with softening plants to help the relaxed atmosphere. A large three metre Ficus `Amstel King` was specified for the atrium entrance. We gave the client to choice of tropical plants to rent as well as the option for outright purchase.

 

The client decided to purchase and maintain themselves. The plants were specified on Thursday and the order was placed in Holland later that day, the pots and plants arrived in our tropical plant nursery on Monday morning for assembly and quality checks. The installation team on the Tuesday quickly set about installing on site in preparation for the big open day on Wednesday.

 

As always with most contracts the client were so impressed they chose to order another four in the Tuesday morning but with the terms that they must be in place by 9.00 on Wednesday. Most contractors would not have the capability to carry out such as request, but at Interior Plantscapes the directors got in there uniforms and arrived at 8.00 on Wednesday with plant displays ready to go.

 

The final result was a fantastic scheme with ecstatic clients.
