All+ Management
We've just a completed a wonderful Green Infrastructure project for new client, All+ Management, who are working in partnership with Building Owners, Schroders. All+ Management are responsible for managing and delivering a Grade-A office space for occupants and visitors to No.1 Spinningfields in Manchester. Our project brief was focussed on the ground floor reception area; a bright and airy space which needed some statement Green Infrastructure to compliment the biophilic design theme already in evidence. The existing reception desk was re-configured and reduced to half its original size which allowed for the remaining half to be re-designed to accommodate an abundance of live plants.
Flanking either side of the main entrance and revolving doors, we installed two huge Ficus Lyrata trees measuring some 6m in height and making the most of the generous entrance area ceiling height at No.1 Spinningfields. The Ficus Lyrata trees were planted into two equally stunning Corten steel planters which we dressed with a variety of base planting to complete the installation.
All the Green Infrastructure which we installed will now be regularly maintained by our Plant Service Technicians to ensure it stays looking in first class condition and continues to thrive in it's new home.
And as part of All+ Management's commitment to creating an authentic Biophilic lead design scheme, their Sustainability and Wellbeing Services team liaised with our Scientific Research and Development Lead, Joseph, to understand exactly why and how much the plants will make a difference to the well-being of No.1 Spinningfields occupants and visitors.
The intention being to communicate this information on large screens within the Reception area, for all at No.1 Spinningfields to read.
We love this attention to detail and we're certain the plants will be enjoyed by all who experience them.
