Custom design
Caravan Manchester
A brand new Hospitality brand, 'Caravan' arrived in Manchester recently - their first restaurant outside of London (where there are eight more)
Caravan's proprietors wanted their restaurant to pay subtle homage to their New Zealand roots so the biophilic interior design scheme was carefully curated throughout.
Live and Artificial
The planting scheme for Caravan Manchester specified non-tropical live varieties which were planted into either client's troughs or a selection of containers from I Want Plants
Trough planting consisted of Chlorophytum, Aspidistras and a variety of grasses. Artificial Pampas grasses were also integrated into the trough planting since using live Pampas would not be viable.
The beautiful remainder of plants used in the project were live and positioned in clusters throughout the restaurant, lobby and exterior.
These included Dracaena, Schefflera, Ficus, Yucca, Chamaerops and more... all planted into into a harmonising mix of either aged terracotta pots or our stunning range of 'lava' pots with their rusted and earthy colour tones.
