Delighted to be appointed by Chotto Matte recently to assist with their breathtaking new restaurant in Manchester City Centre, situated on the spectacular new roof terrace of No.1 St Michael’s.
This Custom Installation live planting scheme took direct inspiration from the restaurant’s Nikkei origins, a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, which translated into a lush botanical selection.

Curating the correct plant species was integral to creating an immersive and authentic experience.
So a prominent feature throughout the scheme was the use of palm plants, including robust Chamaerops and elegant Trachycarpus species.
Attention to botanical detail extends throughout the entire restaurant space too which includes a sushi bar and two private dining rooms alongside the amazing roof terrace area.
And a beautiful variety of pots and containers were specifically chosen to blend perfectly with the rich, warm coloured soft furnishings.
Collectively creating the most incredible, biophilic influenced, hospitality interior design scheme.
