One Victoria Street

One Victoria Street

Earlier this year we had the pleasure of once again working with Manchester based Interior Design Practice, SpaceInvader Design Ltd. Their Client had moved into brand new commercial premises and needed a new and inspiring flexible workspace where the design brief was to 'create an environment with natural emphasis' A Workspace where the tenants would feel 'inspired, motivated and energised'. Biophilic influences played a major part.

One Victoria Street's locality (Windsor) is both rich in historic architecture and also green/woodland open space and this was reflected in the creation of an immersive 'garden area' to the communal ground floor lounge area. The garden area was partially encased by two Moss Walls and cluster planting using varieties such as Philodendron Monstera, Ficus Lyrata, Asplenium Nidus and Pavarti. This tranquil, green corner which will help improve air quality and underpin the focus on occupant well-being.

Mix of live plants and preserved moss wall

The garden area compliments the extensive use of Biophilic materials used throughout the Interior Design, such as natural wood, stone and metal.

It comes as no surprise that SpaceInvader Design Ltd have been shortlisted in the Interior Design - Corporate & Commerical category for the DRIVEN X DESIGN London Design Awards 2021 later this year.

Thank you for inviting us to help with this stunning project and good luck.
