In October we were kindly invited by Bruntwood, to talk publicly and participate in two environmental/climate change events.
The first was on the 13th when Bruntwood hosted their GM Green Summit Fringe Event; Future Workspaces – The Sustainability Challenge, ahead of the second; The GM Green Summit which was held at The Lowry on the 17th and where Bruntwood were also headline sponsors.
The Fringe Event was particularly rewarding as it gave our Managing Director, Richard Rowlands a wonderful platform to share the benefits of incorporating Nature Base Solutions such as our HYVERT living wall to increase a building’s sustainability credentials.
Richard was one of five Event Speakers which also included Bruntwood Sustainability Director, Alex Edwards and Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.
The Event was also live-streamed and you can watch Richard’s contribution over on our Youtube channel here.
The following week, Bruntwood (as headline sponsors), invited us to join them at the GM Green Summit – another opportunity for us to share information on HYVERT’s sustainability benefits.
The shared desire at both events to create positive change with strategies for becoming more sustainable and reduce carbon footprints has been inspiring.
And both were excellent opportunities for new learnings, knowledge sharing and networking.
Thank you to Bruntwood for your hospitality and most importantly, for inviting us to take part.
