The Old Abbey Plant Donations

When an email enquiry came in from the Customer Support Manager at Manchester Science Park to help them support a local social enterprise company, The Old Abbey, we were delighted to help.

The Old Abbey supports their local community (Hulme, Manchester), by providing over 150 meals for free each week.  They also provide a community radio station, a venue space for innovation applied research and outreach projects and on this occasion, they were in the midst of refurbishing a community garden space on the science park and need plant donations.  (Learn more about their community work here.)

For us to help by donating plants, it was a ‘Yes’, without hesitation.
