Why Work For Us?

Our strong branding and logo is the first indication that we’re not like any other Commercial Green Infrastructure business.

We’re innovative, forward-thinking and see our Family Business as playing an integral part in creating a healthier, greener future for the next generation.

I Want Plants has been around for over forty years but our core company objective remains the same; placing plants closer to people.

No two days are the same at I Want Plants.  It’s always exciting and fun whichever area of the business you are working, (Custom Installations, Live Green Infrastructure or Living Walls), you could be in Manchester on a Monday and London on Tuesday!

And as our company has grown, so too has the diversity of our products and the needs and aspirations of our Clients.  However one thing which has stayed the same is the powerful and positive impact our project work leaves, once we have moved on to our next job.

When you join our fantastic, friendly team, you become an I Want Plants ambassador.

What We Do

If you haven’t already, take a look at our Previous Work pages for a glimpse of what we do.

Our HYVERT living wall is proudly ‘made in Manchester’ and was invented by our Director Richard Rowlands.

Feeling Valued

You’ll be joining a wonderful team where hard-work is recognised and rewarded.

I Want Plants also has H&S and Environmental processes in place and training will be given to ensure new team members meet these strict criteria.

And as the business grows, so too does the opportunity to progress within our company.

If you’re not already, try following us on Instagram too (@iwant_plants), we normally shout about new vacancies here first.

Thanks for your interest in this page.

I Want Plants Team

Current Permanent Vacancies:

PA to Director

We have an exciting new vacancy; we’re looking for a PA to our two Directors; Richard and Jessica.

Based at our busy office HQ, the role would ideally be suited to an individual with previous PA experience.

Applicants should be exceptionally well-organised, hard-working, confident and polite.

There’ll be a variety of tasks each day including the kind expected in a PA role (appointment making, enquiry screening, email correspondence, information gathering etc)

And besides the above, there will be lots of new ‘I Want Plants’ specific admin tasks where full training will be given.

Never far away from plants, it’s a fun place to work with up to twelve team-mates and ideally applicants must like dogs too since we also have two canine members of the team.

If this sounds like you, please get in touch with Jessica by email: jessica@iwantplants.co.uk
