why work for us?

our strong branding is the first indication that we’re not like any other commercial green infrastructure business.

we’re an inclusive, innovative, forward-thinking and see our family business as playing an integral part in creating a healthier, greener future for the next generation.

i want plants has been around for almost fifty years and our core company objective remains the same; placing plants closer to people.

no two days are the same at i want plants.  it’s always fun and exciting whichever area of the business you are working in, (custom installations, live green infrastructure or living walls), you could be in manchester on a monday and london on tuesday!

and as our company has grown, so too has the diversity of our products and the needs and aspirations of our clients.

however, one thing which always stays the same is the powerful and positive impact our project work always leaves behind once we have moved on to our next job.

when you join our fantastic, friendly team, you become an i want plants ambassador.

current vacancies

production technician

New role available; we’re looking for a Production Technician.

Based at our Commercial Nursery HQ, the role will vary from day to day but in the main will be to support both our Horticultural and Site/Warehouse/Production teams.

Tasks will range from assisting with HYVERT living wall production, deliveries, keeping the nursery tidy, cleaning the vehicle fleet and other ad hoc horticultural duties.

The nature of the role means a good level of fitness would be helpful and don’t worry if you’re unfamiliar with plants and their names, we can teach that.

A positive attitude is a must alongside a willingness to learn.
